    Title

Kleinian groups through measures at infinity

    Abstract

In this talk we will explain Sullivan's seminal work on the ergodic study of the geodesic flow of hyperbolic manifolds through the Patterson-Sullivan measure on the boundary at infinity of a Kleinian group. If time allow, I will present briefly a recent generalization of his construction introduced with R. Coulon, R. Dougall and S. Tapie. Of course, my talk will mainly be devoted to the explanation of the above terminology.
