    Title

    Curve counting and tropical geometry

    Abstract

The talk will introduce tropical geometry as a tool to study generating functions of counts of curves. Such generating functions appear for example in the context of mirror symmetry. In some cases, they can be related to Feynman integrals, allowing to study quasimodularity properties. We also review some recent developments concerning arithmetic counts, i.e. counts of geometric objects defined over various fields.
